Key Responsibilities
    • Develop, implement, and maintain Quality Management Systems (QMS) in line with standards such as ISO 9001
    • Oversee inspection activities for raw materials, in-process fabrication, and final products
    • Review and approve fabrication drawings, welding procedures (WPS/PQR), and quality plans
    • Lead root cause analysis and corrective/preventive actions (CAPA) for quality issues
    • Manage non-conformance reports (NCRs) and ensure timely closure
    • Coordinate with production, design, and procurement teams to resolve quality concerns
    • Ensure compliance with customer specifications, codes, and standards (ASME, ASTM, etc.)
    • Supervise and mentor quality inspectors and junior engineers
    • Conduct internal audits and support external/customer audits
    • Monitor KPIs related to quality and drive continuous improvement initiatives
    • Ensure proper documentation, traceability, and record-keeping

Required Qualifications
    • Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field
    • 5 - 10 years of experience as a quality inspector/QA-QC Engineer.
    • Certification in Quality (e.g., Six Sigma Green/Black Belt – preferred)
    • Strong knowledge of fabrication processes (welding, cutting, rolling, machining, assembly etc.)
    • Familiarity with NDT methods (UT, RT, MT, PT, VT)
    • Hands-on experience with quality tools (8D, 5 Why, FMEA, SPC)
    • Knowledge of international standards (ISO 9001, ASME, AWS, etc.)
    • Proficiency in reading engineering drawings and GD&T
    • Experience with SAP/QMS systems

Preferred Experience
    • Experience in heavy fabrication, pressure vessels, structural steel, Skid fabrication & Verification
    • Exposure to customer audits and third-party inspections
    • Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing and Kaizen
