Key Responsibilities

SAP Coordination & System Management

  • Create, release, monitor, and close production orders in SAP.
  • Maintain and update BOMs, routings, work centres, and material master data in coordination with Engineering and SCM teams.
  • Ensure accuracy of SAP transactions related to production, material movements, confirmations, and inventory.
  • Coordinate with SAP support teams for issue resolution and process improvements.
  • Monitor system-generated exceptions and take corrective actions.

Production Planning Support

  • Assist the PPC team in the preparation of production schedules and work order planning.
  • Generate and maintain project-wise production tracking reports.
  • Monitor actual progress against planned schedules and highlight delays.
  • Support capacity planning and workload balancing across production departments.

Material Planning & Tracking

  • Track material availability against production requirements.
  • Monitor shortages and coordinate with SCM, Stores, and Production teams for timely resolution.
  • Validate material reservations and ensure proper issuance through SAP.
  • Follow up on critical materials impacting manufacturing schedules.

ERP Process Improvement

  • Support implementation of SAP best practices within PPC and Manufacturing functions.
  • Train users on SAP transactions and reporting requirements.

Cross-Functional Coordination

  • Coordinate with Engineering for BOM and drawing releases.
  • Work closely with SCM and Stores for material planning and availability.

Educational Qualification

  • Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Production Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or equivalent.
  • SAP PP/MM Certification preferred.

Experience

  • 3 to 6 years of experience in PPC, Production Planning, ERP Coordination, or Manufacturing Operations.
  • Hands-on experience with SAP PP/MM modules.
  • Experience in project-based manufacturing, fabrication, process equipment, heavy engineering, or industrial products preferred.
